There Is No Question of Letting Perni Nani Go: Kollu Ravindra

TDP leader and minister Kollu Ravindra expressed strong criticism against YSRCP leader and former minister Perni Nani regarding the alleged misappropriation of ration rice from a warehouse. Ravindra warned officials accused of aiding Perni Nani, stating, “We will investigate the matter thoroughly, and if the involvement of officials is established, strict action will be taken against them.”

Kollu Ravindra questioned Perni Nani’s moral standing, asking, “Where is Perni Nani now, who repeatedly lectures about ethics? Should we view him as a predator for stealing rice meant for the poor?” He further added, “If Perni Nani commits wrongdoing and makes money, does that make him a ‘dora’ (a feudal lord)? Those who commit crimes will not be spared.”

Ravindra announced his recommendation for the formation of a Special Investigation Team (SIT) to probe the scandal. He emphasized that the TDP does not believe in acting out of vengeance, stating, “If we were intent on revenge, the entire family of Perni Nani, involved in the scam, would have been sent to jail.”

Continuing his attack, Ravindra alleged that Perni Nani is in a dire position, unable to provide an explanation regarding the diverted rice. He ridiculed the YSRCP leader, saying, “If you are not guilty, why are you running around like a thief avoiding capture?”
