Allu Arjun on Revathi’s Death: “I Was Unaware,” Actor Gets Emotional

Actor Allu Arjun reportedly became emotional during a police inquiry regarding the tragic death of a woman, Revathi, in a stampede incident at Sandhya Theater. The incident occurred during a rally for his film Pushpa 2, leading to chaos and severe injuries. Allu Arjun was questioned as Accused 11 (A11) by the Chikkadpally police on various aspects of the incident, with the entire inquiry recorded.

Authorities posed 20 questions to the actor, focusing on the events before and after the stampede. When asked whether he was aware that such rallies required police permission, Allu Arjun claimed ignorance, stating that the theater management had not informed him.

A video shown by the police depicted 40-50 bouncers forcefully pushing fans inside the theater, allegedly triggering the chaos. Allu Arjun was instructed to provide information about the bouncers involved.

During the inquiry, the police informed the actor about Revathi's death and injuries sustained by a young boy. Allu Arjun reportedly expressed emotional distress, stating he was unaware of the fatality. He also said he was not informed that permission for the premiere event had been denied.

The inquiry, which included a brief tea break, resumed with Allu Arjun reiterating his willingness to cooperate fully with the investigation. Police mentioned that he might be called in for further questioning. Notably, none of the bouncers accompanied the actor to the inquiry, amid allegations that they were the primary cause of the stampede.
