Deputy CM Pawan Kalyan Preaching Without Action: YSRCP Spokesperson Syamala

A road accident following the pre-release event of the film Game Changer in Rajamahendravaram claimed the lives of two fans. Andhra Pradesh Deputy Chief Minister Pawan Kalyan, who attended the event as the chief guest, expressed shock over the incident and announced financial assistance of ₹5 lakh each for the families of the deceased. Blaming the previous government for the poor condition of the Kakinada-Rajamahendravaram ADB road, Pawan Kalyan alleged that the accident was caused by the negligence of earlier administrations.

Responding to these statements, YSR Congress Party (YSRCP) spokesperson and anchor Syamala criticized Pawan Kalyan for allegedly politicizing the tragedy. She claimed that while Pawan Kalyan speaks about morality, his actions do not reflect his words. She further accused him of attempting to shift the blame onto the previous government to avoid accountability.

“Sir, if you were already aware of the deteriorated condition of the Kakinada-Rajamahendravaram ADB road, why did you grant permission for the event in the first place? Shouldn't you have taken action to seize the road instead? Encouraging youth to engage in reckless behavior by saying things like ‘Come to the movies, tear your shirts, race your bikes, and create chaos’—is this the kind of rhetoric expected from a Deputy CM?" Syamala remarked.

She also questioned whether Pawan Kalyan had visited the families of the victims to offer condolences, alleging that the Deputy CM prioritized personal interests over public welfare. "Innocent lives are being sacrificed for your selfish ambitions," she stated, launching a scathing attack via a tweet.
