Chandrababu’s Security Further Tightened with Additional Counter-Action Team

Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister Nara Chandrababu Naidu’s security has been further enhanced by deploying a specially trained Counter-Action Team of six additional commandos. This team will supplement the existing National Security Guard (NSG), Special Security Group (SSG), and local armed forces responsible for his protection. The Counter-Action Team has undergone rigorous training under the supervision of the Special Protection Group (SPG) to ensure swift and effective responses to any threats.

The enhanced security comes in response to concerns over potential threats from Maoist groups. Chandrababu Naidu is one of the few individuals in the country to be protected by elite Black Cat commandos and NSG forces.

The security setup around Chandrababu Naidu operates in three layers. The first layer comprises NSG personnel, followed by SSG in the second layer. The third layer, stationed at a distance, includes the newly formed Counter-Action Team of six commandos. In the event of any emergency or threat, the NSG and SSG teams are tasked with safely evacuating Chandrababu to secure locations, while the Counter-Action Team is trained to engage and neutralize any attackers without hesitation.

The Counter-Action Team has received extensive training at premier domestic and international training centers. Their induction into Chandrababu’s security detail was officially completed yesterday, ensuring a highly fortified security perimeter around the Chief Minister.
