"Rohit Sharma is Unstoppable Once He Gets Going," Says Yuvraj Singh

The much-anticipated clash between India and Pakistan in the Champions Trophy is set to take place on Sunday, February 23, in Dubai. Cricket fans worldwide are eagerly awaiting this high-voltage match, and tickets have already been sold out in large numbers. The Dubai Stadium is expected to be packed with enthusiastic supporters.

For Pakistan, this match is crucial after their opening-game defeat to New Zealand, which has put their semi-final hopes in jeopardy. A victory against India is essential for their chances of progressing further in the tournament. On the other hand, India started their campaign with a dominant win over Bangladesh. In that match, captain Rohit Sharma played a steady knock of 41 runs, while young opener Shubman Gill continued his brilliant form with a century.

Former Indian cricketer Yuvraj Singh recently made significant remarks about Rohit Sharma’s batting. He stated that once Rohit starts scoring, no one can stop him. Yuvraj also emphasized that there are no better players than Rohit Sharma and Virat Kohli in limited-overs cricket today.

"Rohit Sharma’s form doesn’t matter to me. I always support match-winners. In ODI cricket, especially in white-ball formats, he is one of India’s biggest match-winners alongside Virat Kohli. Even if Rohit struggles initially, if he gets going, it becomes dangerous for the opposition. If he is in form, he can score a century in just 60 balls," Yuvraj Singh said while speaking on Jio Hotstar.

Yuvraj further praised Rohit’s ability to score runs aggressively, highlighting his exceptional skills against short-pitched deliveries. "Rohit doesn’t just rely on fours; he can effortlessly hit sixes. He is among the best players of short-pitched deliveries and has the ability to hook deliveries coming at 145-150 kmph with ease. His strike rate always remains between 120-140, and on his day, he can single-handedly win matches," Yuvraj added.
