Tirupati and Ongole YSRCP Corporators Join Jana Sena in Presence of Pawan Kalyan

In a significant setback for the YSRCP, some corporators from the Ongole and Tirupati municipal corporations joined the Jana Sena Party (JSP) today in the presence of party chief Pawan Kalyan.

In Ongole, 20 corporators, led by senior leader Balineni Srinivasa Reddy, officially joined the Jana Sena, receiving party scarves from Pawan Kalyan. The JSP leader extended a warm welcome to the new members. Previously, the YSRCP held a strength of 43 members in the Ongole Municipal Corporation, but this number has now dwindled to just four. Before this latest defection, the mayor, deputy mayor, and 19 other corporators had already switched allegiance to Jana Sena. With today’s developments, the YSRCP’s presence in the Ongole Municipal Corporation has been reduced to a nominal level. Additionally, Balineni Srinivasa Reddy’s son, Balineni Praneeth, also joined Jana Sena during the event.

Similarly, in Tirupati, a large number of corporators shifted to Jana Sena under the leadership of the party’s MLA, Arani Srinivasulu. Pawan Kalyan personally welcomed the new entrants by draping them with the party's symbolic scarves.
