Patancheru MLA Mahipal Reddy Meets KCR in Assembly Lobby

An interesting political development took place in the Telangana Assembly lobby as Patancheru MLA Gudem Mahipal Reddy. Mahipal Reddy, who won the last Assembly elections on a BRS ticket but later joined the Congress party, personally met former Chief Minister and Bharat Rashtra Samithi (BRS) chief K. Chandrashekar Rao (KCR) and invited KCR to his nephew's wedding, handing over the wedding invitation to the BRS leader.

Mahipal Reddy has a longstanding political history with BRS, having won the Assembly elections in 2014, 2019, and 2023 under the party's banner. However, following the most recent elections, he switched allegiance to the Congress party. Despite his unofficial association with Congress, Mahipal Reddy continues to display a photograph of KCR at his camp office in Patancheru, indicating a complex political equation.

The meeting between KCR and Mahipal Reddy in the Assembly lobby has sparked speculation about the nature of their political relationship, given Reddy's past ties with BRS and his current position in the Congress party.
