Tears Guaranteed in Final 20 Minutes, Promises Jr NTR at Arjun S/o Vyjayanthi Event

At the pre-release event of the film Arjun S/o Vyjayanthi, actor Nandamuri Taraka Rama Rao Jr. (NTR) made a notable appearance and shared several personal sentiments with the audience. The event, held in Hyderabad, marked his return to public celebrations after a considerable gap, following the cancellation of a previous promotional event for Devara due to an overwhelming fan turnout.

Speaking at the event, NTR expressed his happiness in attending a function for his brother Kalyan Ram’s film. He remarked that listening to actress Vijayashanti speak gave him a sense that the void left by their father had been filled.

NTR also confirmed that his upcoming film War 2 is scheduled for release on August 14. Addressing his fans, he said, “I don’t know when I’ll be seen again, so I want to share what’s in my heart at this event.”

He stated that Arjun S/o Vyjayanthi draws inspiration from the film Kartavyam, in which Vijayashanti played the iconic role of Vyjayanthi IPS. “This film was conceived with the thought of what it would be like if that character had a son. It’s a delightful concept. I’ve watched the film, and without Vijayashanti and Prudhvi, it wouldn’t exist. The producers and director have worked extremely hard to bring it to life,” NTR said.

He announced that the film is set for release on April 18 and added humorously, “Mark it down—audiences will be in tears during the last 20 minutes in the theatre. That’s how brilliantly the film has been made. If Kalyan Ram hesitates to lift his collar, I’ll do it for him.”

NTR shared that he could not hold back his own tears while watching the film and believed audiences would have a similar emotional response. He attributed the powerful climax sequence to Kalyan Ram’s dedicated performance and his trust in the film’s concept. NTR praised his brother’s commitment, stating that although Kalyan Ram has made many commendable films, this one stands out as the best of his career. He concluded by commending Vijayashanti’s portrayal of the mother’s role, noting that her belief in the character significantly contributed to the film’s success.
