KCR May Be Kind, But I’m Not: Kavitha Issues Strong Warning

MLC Kalvakuntla Kavitha issued a stern warning that any attempt to intimidate Bharat Rashtra Samithi (BRS) party workers would not be tolerated. She stated that the names of those responsible would be written down in a “Pink Book” and held accountable. Kavitha participated in a preparatory meeting for the BRS party’s silver jubilee celebrations held in Banswada, Kamareddy district.

Speaking at the meeting, organized as part of the 24th anniversary celebrations of the BRS party, Kavitha said she had received information that some individuals were threatening BRS party workers over the phone. “We will write down the names of those who are issuing threats in the Pink Book. No one will be spared. Party workers should not worry and must remain courageous,” she assured.

Referring to BRS party chief and former Chief Minister Kalvakuntla Chandrashekar Rao, Kavitha remarked, “KCR sir may be a good man. I’m a bit of a rowdy type. Under no circumstances will I let anyone go unpunished.”

Kavitha made it clear that she would not forgive those who harassed party workers or made them go around police stations. She asserted that regardless of whether the offenders were leaders or officials, they would not be spared.

She emphasized that the BRS, during its time in power, had never engaged in lawlessness and had always focused solely on development and welfare. She criticized those who, after switching parties, were now trying to intimidate BRS workers. “If someone says they’ll teach you a lesson, don’t be afraid. No one here is afraid—not even if your grandfather, great-grandfather, or ancestral matriarch comes down,” she said, encouraging party workers to stay strong.
