Raghu Rama Krishna Raju Reveals First Rift with Jagan Mohan Reddy

Raghu Rama Krishna Raju, who was elected as a Member of Parliament from the YSR Congress Party (YSRCP) and later emerged as a vocal critic of party leader Y.S. Jagan Mohan Reddy, revealed the initial cause of his fallout with Jagan. Speaking at a recent event, Raghu Rama Krishna Raju disclosed that his opposition to certain remarks made by YSRCP leaders about former Andhra Pradesh Speaker Kodela Siva Prasada Rao led to the first rift between him and Jagan Mohan Reddy.

Raghu Rama Krishna Raju stated that after YSRCP came to power in Andhra Pradesh, party leaders made derogatory comments about Kodela Siva Prasada Rao. He said he objected to these remarks, and this led to the beginning of his differences with Jagan Mohan Reddy. He further mentioned that these disagreements intensified over time.

Reflecting on his political journey, Raghu Rama Krishna Raju said he never imagined entering politics. He claimed that even before formally stepping into politics, he had helped many individuals secure MLA tickets.

These remarks were made during an event held in Balijepalli village, located in Rajupalem Mandal of Palnadu district, where statues of N.T. Rama Rao and Kodela Siva Prasada Rao were unveiled. Raghu Rama Krishna Raju participated in the ceremony and delivered these comments on the occasion. Other attendees at the event included Member of Parliament Krishnadevarayalu, MLA Kanna Lakshminarayana, and Telugu Desam Party (TDP) State General Secretary Kodela Sivarama.
