Security Tightened as Vamsi, Raj Kasireddy, PSR Remanded in Same Jail Block
Three high-profile individuals accused in separate major cases are currently being held in the same barrack at the Vijayawada District Jail, according to reports. Former Gannavaram MLA Vallabhaneni Vamsi Mohan, liquor scam accused Raj Kasireddy, and PSR Anjaneyulu—who was arrested in connection with a case involving Mumbai actress Kadambari Jethwani—are all being held on remand in separate cells within the same barrack.
Vallabhaneni Vamsi Mohan is on remand at the Vijayawada District Jail in connection with the kidnapping case involving staff from the Telugu Desam Party office. Following his detention, Raj Kasireddy—recently implicated in the liquor scam—and PSR Anjaneyulu—arrested in the case concerning actress Kadambari Jethwani—were subsequently sent to the same facility after being remanded by the court.
The Vijayawada District Jail comprises three barracks. Barrack Number One contains eleven individual rooms. Generally, high-profile individuals or those involved in sensitive cases are housed in Barracks Two and Three. However, Vallabhaneni Vamsi Mohan has been placed in a cell within Barrack Number One. It has now been learned that both Raj Kasireddy and PSR Anjaneyulu have also been assigned to separate cells within the same barrack.
Due to the presence of these three individuals in the same barrack, prison authorities have heightened security measures. To monitor their movements and for safety reasons, CCTV cameras have been installed in each of their cells. The fact that three prominent figures arrested in separate cases are being held in the same barrack has become a point of public discussion.
