“Modi appeared very serious when we met recently,” says Chandrababu

Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu stated that this day would be permanently etched in the history of Andhra Pradesh. Speaking at the ceremonial event marking the resumption of Amaravati capital construction works, he made several key remarks. He recalled that the foundation for Amaravati’s construction had earlier been laid by Prime Minister Narendra Modi, and lamented that, unfortunately, the project had come to a standstill for the past five years. Expressing satisfaction, he noted that the works are now being restarted during Modi’s administration.
Chandrababu Naidu said that in previous meetings, Prime Minister Narendra Modi had appeared cheerful, but during their most recent meeting, he looked very solemn. He added that the grief over the loss of innocent lives in Pahalgam was clearly visible on Modi’s face. Chandrababu Naidu affirmed that his government would fully support every action taken by the central government in the fight against terrorism.
“We are all with you, Modi ji. Vande Mataram, Bharat Mata Ki Jai,” he declared, expressing his government's unwavering solidarity with the Prime Minister.
Chandrababu Naidu further stated that the right leader is governing the nation at the right time, referring to Prime Minister Narendra Modi. He praised Modi's leadership as being globally recognized. He pointed out that when Narendra Modi first became Prime Minister, India was the world's tenth-largest economy, and under his leadership, it has now grown to become the fifth-largest. He expressed confidence that India would soon rise to the third position and conveyed hope that by 2047, India would become the world’s largest economy.
The Chief Minister lauded Modi’s consistent efforts toward both national development and poverty eradication. He noted that the Prime Minister has been striving with the nation’s progress as his ultimate goal. Chandrababu Naidu also remarked that Modi’s recent decision to conduct a caste census was a significant step taken by the central government.
Concluding his speech, he expressed optimism that with the restart of Amaravati’s construction, the state’s development would enter a new phase.
