Mild Earthquake Jolts Northern Telangana, Panic in Karimnagar

Mild tremors were reported on Tuesday in several districts of northern Telangana. The districts affected included Karimnagar, Rajanna Sircilla, Jagtial, Nirmal, and Peddapalli. The incident triggered significant panic among residents, as the ground shook for a few seconds and household items began to move. Alarmed by the sudden occurrence, many people ran out of their homes in fear, unsure of what was happening.

In Karimnagar district, the tremors were felt more intensely across various parts. According to local residents, strong vibrations were experienced for a few seconds in the mandals of Choppadandi, Gangadhara, and Ramadugu. They reported that not only did the ground shake, but houses and buildings also vibrated noticeably. Some residents stated that the ground shook strongly twice.

Reports also indicated that tremors were experienced in certain areas of Nirmal district as well. The shaking of the earth left many residents startled and disturbed.
