Operation Sindoor as a Feature Film: First Poster Released

The Indian Army's retaliatory offensive named "Operation Sindoor," conducted in response to a terrorist attack in Pahalgam, Jammu and Kashmir, is now being adapted into a feature film. The production houses Nicky Vicky Bhagnani Films and The Content Engineer have officially announced a new movie titled Operation Sindoor, which will depict India’s strategic military response to cross-border terrorism.
According to the producers, the film will portray the Indian Armed Forces' resolute and tactical retaliation against the terrorist camps located in Pakistan, following the Pahalgam attack. In the military action, the Indian Army reportedly bombed and destroyed nine terrorist camps, significantly escalating tensions between India and Pakistan. As a result, border regions have witnessed heavy drone activity, missile deployments, and shelling.
The film is set to be directed by Uttam Maheshwari and is being positioned as a high-profile and emotionally charged cinematic representation of India's counter-terror operation. The first look poster has also been released, drawing attention for its symbolic visuals.
The poster features a female soldier in full combat gear, standing with her back turned while applying sindoor (vermilion) in the parting of her hair, symbolizing strength, sacrifice, and patriotism. Behind her, battle tanks, barbed-wire fences, and fighter jets soaring through the sky set a dramatic and nationalistic backdrop. The film’s title, Operation Sindoor, is prominently displayed, with the second "O" in "Sindoor" artistically replaced by a symbolic vermilion mark. The tricolor-themed slogan “Bharat Mata Ki Jai” enhances the patriotic spirit of the visual.
The production team expressed confidence that the film's emotionally intense and gripping narrative will resonate with audiences. However, the cast details have not yet been announced.
