Charminar Hosts Heritage Walk for Miss World Contestants Amid Tight Security

Charminar, typically bustling with activity, presented an unusually vibrant and festive atmosphere on Tuesday. As part of the Miss World pageant events being hosted in Hyderabad, contestants visited the Old City from the afternoon until evening to participate in a heritage walk.

To ensure smooth conduct of the program, police established extensive security arrangements in and around the Charminar area. Authorities also temporarily shut down small businesses and stalls for the day, citing crowd management and security requirements.

The iconic monument and its surroundings were adorned with floral decorations to provide a grand welcome to the visiting beauty queens. The elaborate reception was part of Hyderabad’s initiative to showcase its cultural heritage during the ongoing international beauty pageant.
