How to Track Your AP Ration Card Application Status Online

In Andhra Pradesh, applications for new ration cards are currently being accepted at village and ward secretariats. Once an application is submitted, it undergoes scrutiny at three levels—eKYC, Village Revenue Officer (VRO), and Tahsildar. This entire verification process may take up to 21 days to complete.

To simplify the process for applicants, the coalition government has introduced an easy online facility to track the status of ration card applications.

Applicants can conveniently check the status of their applications by visiting the official AP Seva portal at https://vswsonline.ap.gov.in. After logging into the site, they must locate the “Service Request Status Check” search column, which appears on the upper right side of the page.

In that section, applicants should enter the application number received at the time of submission. Once this is done, a verification code will be generated. After entering this code, users will be able to see which official is currently handling their application. Additionally, the portal also displays the estimated number of days remaining for the completion of the entire process.
