For the First Time in History, Lights Turned Off at Golden Temple…!

Senior Indian Army officials have revealed that the Indian military successfully thwarted a major conspiracy orchestrated by Pakistan targeting the sacred Golden Temple in Amritsar, Punjab. As part of the counter-operation, lights within the Golden Temple complex were turned off for the first time in history to detect missiles launched by Pakistan, according to Air Force Chief Lieutenant General Sumer Ivan.
Providing further details about the incident, Lieutenant General Sumer Ivan stated, “We had already anticipated that Pakistan might attempt attacks on places of worship in order to incite internal unrest within the country. Consistent with our assessments, we received precise intelligence from surveillance units indicating that Pakistan was plotting an attack on the Golden Temple in Punjab.”
“Upon being alerted about the potential threat to the Golden Temple in Amritsar, the temple authorities extended complete cooperation. The chief granthi (supervisor of the Gurudwara) granted special permissions for the entry of armed forces into the temple. This was a crucial step,” he recalled. “Permission was obtained for our troops to be stationed with weapons in key locations within the temple. Furthermore, to clearly identify incoming Pakistani missiles, the lights inside the Golden Temple were turned off. This might be the first time in history that the temple's lights—glowing continuously for years—were deliberately turned off. We remain forever indebted for their cooperation,” Lieutenant General Sumer Ivan remarked.
Major General Karthik C. Sheshadri stated that following 'Operation Sindoor,' Pakistan intensified its hostility and targeted the Golden Temple. “Our Army Air Defence units effectively countered the conspiracies devised by the Pakistani military. Every drone and missile was intercepted mid-air, leaving not even a scratch on our sacred Golden Temple,” he said.
He further disclosed that Pakistan had launched hundreds of drones and missiles across various regions in India. “Our advanced aerial defence systems, including S-400 and Akash, responded remarkably and neutralised all threats,” said Major General Sheshadri.
