CM Chandrababu Naidu Issues Directives on District Reorganisation

Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister Nara Chandrababu Naidu has issued crucial directives regarding the reorganisation of districts. On Tuesday, he conducted a review meeting with ministers at the State Secretariat focused on this matter. It is well known that during the election campaign, Chandrababu Naidu had promised to establish new district headquarters in several regions.
In this context, Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu instructed officials to promptly submit a report concerning the assurances made by the alliance. He stated that the report should be prepared in consultation with leaders from the Telugu Desam Party, Jana Sena Party, and Bharatiya Janata Party, as well as various community representatives.
Chandrababu Naidu also advised officials to expedite action on promises such as the creation of a special district centered around Markapuram, addressing the issues of submergence-affected mandals due to the Polavaram project, and the establishment of other proposed special districts.
