Tornadoes Rip Through U.S. States: Texas, Oklahoma, and Kentucky Hit Hard

Several states across Central America are grappling with severe disruptions following a series of powerful tornadoes. On Monday, four intense tornadoes wreaked havoc across a vast region stretching from Texas to Kentucky, causing widespread destruction. Numerous buildings collapsed under the force of these storms, and the power infrastructure suffered extensive damage, plunging several cities and towns into darkness.
The situation is particularly dire in the state of Oklahoma. At least ten residential houses and one fire station were completely flattened. Approximately 115,000 people in the affected areas are currently enduring harsh conditions without electricity.
National highways have also sustained damage due to the tornadoes, prompting authorities to suspend vehicular movement as a precautionary measure.
In North Texas, a hailstorm intensified the situation. Local weather officials reported that hailstones with a diameter of approximately 11.4 centimeters struck the region, causing further damage.
In Saint Louis city, the tornadoes reportedly damaged at least 5,000 buildings. The estimated loss in property value is around one billion dollars.
Among the affected states, Kentucky bore the brunt of the tornadoes’ impact. Over the past few days, these extreme weather events have resulted in the loss of more than twelve lives. Officials have intensified relief efforts, and work is ongoing to assess the total extent of the damage.
