New Motorola Razr 60 to Feature Foldable Display and Triple OS Updates

Motorola, a leading smartphone manufacturer, is set to launch its latest foldable smartphone, the Motorola Razr 60, in the Indian market. Designed to resemble a purse in appearance, the company has officially confirmed that the device will be launched on May 28 at 12 PM. Following its launch, the smartphone will be available for purchase on the popular e-commerce platform Flipkart, Motorola announced. The device was introduced in global markets last month and is now making its way to Indian consumers.
The Indian variant of the Motorola Razr 60 will include some distinct features. It will be offered in three attractive colours—Pantone Gibraltar Sea, Spring Bud, and Latest Sky. For the Indian market, Motorola will release the device in a single configuration featuring 8GB RAM and 256GB internal storage. Notably, the international version is available with additional options, including a Parfait Pink colour and configurations offering up to 16GB RAM and 512GB storage.
According to the company, the Motorola Razr 60 will operate on the Android 15 operating system and will receive three major OS updates along with four years of security updates. The smartphone features a 6.96-inch POLED LTPO main display with a Full HD resolution of 1,080 x 2,640 pixels, and a 3.63-inch POLED cover display with a resolution of 1,056 x 1,066 pixels. The external screen is protected with Corning Gorilla Glass Victus.
The device is powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 7400X chipset. In terms of photography, it comes with a dual-camera setup on the rear, comprising a 50-megapixel primary camera and a 13-megapixel ultra-wide angle shooter. On the front, it houses a 32-megapixel camera for selfies. The smartphone has an IP48 rating for resistance against dust and water. It is equipped with a 4,500mAh battery that supports 30W wired fast charging and 15W wireless charging.
Motorola has not yet officially announced the price of the Razr 60 in India. However, in the United States, the starting price for this phone is $699 (approximately ₹60,000), providing a reference point for estimating the Indian price. Dedicated microsites for the smartphone have been set up on Flipkart and the Motorola India website, where further details are available.
