Historic Mahanadu to Highlight Nara Lokesh’s Role in TDP Future

Discussions have intensified within the Telugu Desam Party (TDP) regarding assigning more significant responsibilities to youth leader Nara Lokesh. A strong demand is emerging from party cadres to appoint Nara Lokesh as the party's Working President. Several leaders are reportedly preparing to raise this issue before Party President N. Chandrababu Naidu during the upcoming Mahanadu event.

Government Whip and TDP MLA G.V. Anjaneyulu commented on the matter, stating, "Crores of active members and party workers earnestly wish to see Nara Lokesh as the party’s National Working President. This desire emerging from the hearts of the workers will certainly be brought to the attention of our leader Chandrababu Garu during Mahanadu. We need to infuse the party with youthful energy for the next 40 years and take decisive steps toward achieving the ‘Vision 2047’ goal. Under Lokesh's leadership, the party will be further strengthened, and the NDA alliance will move forward with the goal of winning 100 percent of the seats."

G.V. Anjaneyulu further stated that everyone’s goal is to bring renewed vigor to the party through the strength of the youth.

Meanwhile, TDP leader Anam Venkataramana Reddy also expressed his views on the matter. He remarked that the decision on what position should be given to Nara Lokesh rests entirely with the party workers. "In our party, there is no culture of imposing decisions from the top. Whatever the workers want will be implemented. If the workers wish to see Lokesh in a key post, that is what will happen. We need to wait and not rush," said Anam Venkataramana Reddy.

He added that the first Mahanadu after returning to power will be very special and historic. "Other political parties should observe how the Telugu Desam Party conducts Mahanadu and learn from it. It is like a case study. Chandrababu Garu will demonstrate what discipline, organization, and vision should look like. This time, the enthusiasm of the party workers will be at a doubled level," he said.

Speaking about the YSR Congress Party (YSRCP), Anam Venkataramana Reddy commented, "It is like a dead snake. There is no need to talk about it now. Good days have come for the state."
