U.S. Threatens Visa Revocation for Students Violating Academic Terms
The United States, which has already been enforcing strict measures against foreign students during the Trump administration, is continuing to cancel student visas for various reasons and expelling students from the country. In a fresh warning, the U.S. has now stated that visas may also be cancelled based on absenteeism by foreign students, including those from India, enrolled in American educational institutions.

To this effect, the U.S. Embassy in India has issued a formal statement. “If you drop out of your educational institution, skip classes, or leave the study program without informing your institution, your student visa will be cancelled. In the future, you will lose eligibility for any kind of U.S. visa. To avoid complications, follow the regulations and maintain your student visa,” the U.S. Embassy stated in its announcement.
