Bandi Sanjay condemns KCR for directing his MPs to boycott President's speech
In stronger counter to TRS, BJP MP and Telangana state chief Bandi Sanjay fired a fresh salvo at Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao for directing his MPs to boycott President Ram Nath Kovind's speech on the first day of the Budget session in both the Houses of Parliament.
He flayed the TRS leaders saying that they do not believe in democracy as they insulted the President today and Telangana Governor earlier. Sanjay said that KCR should realise that boycotting the President's speech and Governor's speech will not bring any new benefit to Telangana.
In his address today, the President explained the progress made in 2021 under the leadership of Prime Minister Modi and the achievements of the Central government, he said.
He appealed to the TRS government to cooperate with the Central government for the all-round development of the state and to get funds for the implementation of welfare schemes for the people. Otherwise, the BJP will not stop fighting on behalf of the people of Telangana, he warned.
