AP govt will fight for Special Status, reiterates Minister Botsa Satyanarayana
Vizianagaram: Reiterating the Andhra Pradesh government's commitment to fighting for the Special Status, Minister of Municipal Administration and Urban Development Botsa Satyanarayana clarified that the issue of Special Status was in the Reorganisation Act. He was speaking about the Special Status during a review meeting with officials in Vizianagaram on Sunday.
Chief Minister YS Jaganmohan Reddy has been in touch with the Centre on the issue on several occasions, he said and stressed that the State government was committed to the Special Status. The AP has made it clear that it will fight until it achieves Special Status, he reminded.
Botsa also shared his views on the three capitals issue. He made it clear that the three capitals would be established as it is the policy of their government. The administrative capital will be set up in Visakhapatnam, he said.
