After 'Bangaru Telangana', KCR coins new slogan 'Golden India'
Hyderabad: Telangana Rashtra Samithi,(TRS) supremo and Chief Minister Kalvakuntla Chandrasekhara Rao has coined 'Golden India' a new slogan with an aim to defeat the BJP at the Centre by working with like-minded parties across the nation.
It may be recalled that after the formation of a separate state for Telangana, he promised the people to transform it into 'Bangaru Telangana', and now he is chanting 'Bangaru Bharathadesham' (Golden India.'
Speaking on the occasion of laying the foundation stone for Sangameshwara and Basaveshwara projects at Narayan Khed in Sangareddy district, KCR uttered the new slogan 'Golden India'. He alleged that anarchy rule was prevailing in the country and underscored the need to put an end to that and transform the nation into a 'Golden India'
Of late, KCR was trying to form an alliance with non- BJP and non-Congress parties at the Centre. Even in the run-up to the 2019 elections, he had tried to form a Federal Front, but he had stopped the idea in the middle for some reason. However, two years before the 2024 general elections, KCR is once again focusing on national politics. He has also started negotiations with like-minded parties with the sole aim of defeating the BJP.
KCR, who left for Mumbai on Sunday, discussed the issue with Maharashtra CM Uddhav Thackeray and NCP chief Sharad Pawar. KCR will soon be touring other states to hold discussions with the CMs of the respective states and the political parties there.
