Lalu Prasad Yadav's health condition deteriorates
New Delhi: RJD chief Lalu Prasad Yadav has been shifted from Rajendra Institute of Medical Sciences (RIMS) in Ranchi to All India Institue of Medical Sciences (AIIMS) Hospital in Delhi due to declining health.
Lalu was suffering from heart and kidney problems, the RIMs director said. He was shifted to Delhi AIIMS for better treatment.
On July 11, the Jharkhand High Court said that Lalu's bail petition in the fodder scam case could not be heard till April 1. Earlier, Lalu Prasad Yadav was sentenced by a CBI court to five years in jail in the fodder scam in early February this year and imposed a fine of Rs 60 lakh.
