CM KCR insulting Guv to cover up mistakes of TRS govt: Revanth

In a freewheeling interview at Gandhi Bhavan in Hyderabad, TPCC president Revanth Reddy on Friday alleged that Chief Minister K. Chandrashekar Rao has been insulting Governor Tamilisai Soundararajan to cover up mistakes of the TRS government. He said that the CM raised the paddy procurement issue as he has been facing pressure from the family members to make his son and Minister K. Taraka Rama Rao as the Telangana CM.

The Congress chief stated that the Governor and KCR government should work with unity for the well-being of the people. As the Hyderabad is joint capital for both Telugu states till 2024, the Governor has powers to personally monitor drug cases in Hyderabad under Section 8 of the Andhra Pradesh Reorganisation Act, he said.

Revanth criticised the CM for not focusing on education and health sectors in the state. He asked as to why Union Minister Kishan Reddy and Telangana BJP president Bandi Sanjay did not attend the Ugandi eve organised by the Governor in Raj Bhavan.
