CM Jagan and Sajjala to finalise new Cabinet today, 10 old faces likely to get berths
Andhra Pradesh government advisor Sajjala Ramakrishna Reddy would be meeting Chief Minister Y.S. Jagan Mohan Reddy on Saturday afternoon to finalise the candidates for the new Cabinet. According to sources, ten old faces likely to get berths by taking their experience into consideration and the remaining will be first-timers.
The CM may include Botsa Satyanarayana (BC), Sidiri Appala Raju (BC), Perni Nani (OC-Kapu), Ch. Venugopala Krishna (BC), Adimulapu Suresh (SC), Peddireddy Ramachandra Reddy (OC), G. Jayaram (BC), Kodali Nani (OC), Buggana Rajendranath Reddy (OC), and Balineni Srinivasa Reddy (OC) in the Cabinet 2.0.
As per the caste equations, Jagan may induct 9 to 10 BC MLAs, 5 to 6 SC legislators, STs 2, minorities 1, Kapus 3, Kamma 1, and Reddy MLAs 3 in the new Cabinet. The CM will forward the finalised list of the Cabinet to Governor Biswa Bhusan Harichandan either by tonight or Sunday morning. The oath taking ceremony of new ministers would take place on Monday (April 11).
