TRS activists obstruct Telangana BJP chief’s yatra, raises slogan of ‘Bandi Go Back’
Tense situation prevailed for some time when the TRS activists obstructed the Telangana BJP president Bandi Sanjay’s Praja Sangrama Yatra at Vemula village in Itikyala mandal in Jogulamba-Gadwal district on Monday. They raised slogan of ‘Bandi Go Back.’ Meanwhile, the BJP functionaries also ran towards the TRS workers. The police personnel chased the TRS activists away and brought the situation under control.
Addressing the people, Bandi Sanjay stated that Chief Minister K. Chandrashekar Rao has failed to fulfil poll promises. “The CM is trying to blame the BJP-led Modi government over procurement of paddy,” he alleged.
The BJP chief accused KCR of spending Rs 1 lakh crore to lift water from Kaleshwaram project to his farm house. He slammed the CM for neglecting combined Palamuru district. “KCR is collecting Rs 30 as commission on litre fuel,” he said. On the fifth day of yatra, BJP national vice-president D.K. Aruna took part.
