CM KCR pays tribute to Nakrekal MLA Chirumarthi Lingaiah’s father
Narketpally, April 28: Telangana Chief Minister K. Chandrashekar Rao on Thursday attended tenth day ceremony of Nakrekal MLA Chirumarthi Lingaiah’s father here and consoled MLA and his family members. MLA’s father Narasimha had passed away recently and ritual was organised near Raasi Cement factory. Minister for IT and Industries K. Taraka Rama Rao, State Legislative Council Chairman Gutha Sukhender Reddy, ministers, MPs, MLAs and ruling party leaders also offered tributes to Lingiah’s father and consoled the MLA. Security was beefed up with 700 police personnel for CM’s visit.
Later in the day, the CM participated in a meeting held to review development in Nalgonda. He also asked officials about the progress in creation of the Neelagiri Urban Development Authority (NUDA). The NUDA comprises of Nalgonda municipality and 42 villages close to Nalgonda. Creation of Urban Development Authority (UDA) will be useful for generating employment, laying roads and drainage pipes, providing drinking water and erection of street light poles.
