Power cuts, drinking water shortage & damaged roads in AP: KTR
Hyderabad, April 29: Minister for IT, Industries and Municipal Administration K. Taraka Rama Rao on Friday inaugurated 11th edition of the Confederation of Real Estate Developers Associations of India (CREDAI) Hyderabad Property Show here.
Addressing the gathering, KTR stated that a friend of his visited a neighbouring state (Andhra Pradesh) in January this year and told him that he experienced power cuts, shortage of drinking water and damaged roads. The minister suggested that real estate developers should visit states neighbouring to Telangana and compare basic amenities and infrastructure available in the state. “I am ready to provide vehicles for you,” he said.
KTR advised real estate firms to focus on southern part of Hyderabad for developing residential colonies. “I can assure you that Hyderabad will witness rapid development in the next 10 to 15 years provided no communal violence in the state,” he mentioned. The minister indirectly told them not to encourage activities which will adversely affect development of Hyderabad.
