KTR: PM Modi sacked JP Nadda from Cabinet for facing Rs 7,000 crore corruption charges
Hyderabad, May 7: Responding to BJP national president J.P. Nadda’s allegation of KCR government is most corrupt in India, Minister for IT, Industries and Municipal Administration K. Taraka Rama Rao (KTR) said that Nadda was removed from the Central Cabinet by Prime Minister Narendra Modi as he was allegedly involved in scams worth Rs 7,000 crore in the All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS) when he was Union Health Minister. He attached a news report published ‘The Wire’ to his tweet.
KTR flayed Nadda, who is facing corruption charges, for criticising the TRS government. “Your own BJP MLA says he was asked to pay a bribe of ₹2,500 crore to be made CM of Karnataka,” he said and demanded that the BJP chief should react to MLA’s comments. The minister further mentioned that contractors are saying that they have to pay 40% commission for works sanctioned by the Modi government. He criticised Centre for increasing the price of cooking gas cylinders once again.
