It’s a pity Yanamala not aware of int’l flight travel guidelines: Buggana
Amaravati, May 21: Finance Minister Buggana Rajendranath Reddy took a dig at TDP politburo member Yanamala Ramakrishnudu for alleging that Chief Minister Y.S. Jagan Mohan Reddy left to London without taking permission from the CBI court.
The minister said Yanamala was not aware of international flight travel guidelines despite working as a minister for several years. “The flight carrying the CM stopped at Istanbul airport for refuelling. However, filling got delayed due to heavy aircraft traffic, resulting further delay in reaching London airport,” he explained.
Buggana said that AP government officials forwarded a request to the Indian Embassy in Switzerland to give permission for flight landing at Zurich airport. Swiss officials informed the embassy authorities that there is ban on night landing for aircrafts at Zurich airport, he stated.
The minister mentioned that the Indian Embassy at London arranged accommodation to the CM after embassy officials of Switzerland informed their counterparts. “Jagan was ready to leave to Zurich the next day morning but pilots have to take rest for fixed hours as per the DGCA,” he said. He criticised Yanamala for targeting the CM without knowing the facts.
