Sonali Bendre admits to acting in cringe films to pay house rent and bills
Hyderabad: Sonali Bendre has acted in many Telugu hit films like 'Murari', 'Khadgam', 'Indra', 'Manmathudu' and 'Shankardada MBBS'. She made a guest appearance in the Hindi film ‘Once Upon a Time in Mumbai Dobara in 2013 and has since battled cancer and won. She recently starred in the web series ‘The Broken News’, which will be streamed on G5 from June 10.
She recently revealed some interesting things in an interview. “At one point of time, I needed a lot of money. To pay house rent and pay bills as my family was in a difficult situation. That’s why I kept doing whatever roles came my way.”
She further said, “I accepted one project after another and after finishing the projects I used to think why did I accept that project. But, soon after I used to wait for the next project as I needed money. That’s why I kept doing some roles without thinking too much. I have not seen those movies, not even you,” revealed Sonali.
Meanwhile, the grapevine has it that Sonali Bendre starting her second innings in Tollywood in Jr NTR’s movie with Koratala Siva. But, she denied the rumours and was surprised by the news in the media.
