Minor dies by suicide in Machilipatnam when kin made fun of him for losing PUBG game

Machilipatnam (Andhra Pradesh): The tragedy took place in Machilipatnam of Andhra Pradesh as a minor boy died by suicide when he lost the PUBG game. Ootukooru Prabhu (16) of New Housing Board Colony is studying Class IX. He played the PUBG game with his family members at their home on Saturday night as it was summer vacation. However, after losing the game, they made fun of him as he lost the game.

As he was unable to bear the humiliation, he told his kin that he would sleep in another room. He was seen hanging from a ceiling fan in the room as his father opened the door to wake him up as he had not been out for so long in the morning. 

The father was stunned to see his son hanging. After receiving the information, the police rushed to the spot and registered a case and are investigating. It is ironic that incidents of students being addicted to mobile games either ending their lives or killing their family members when they refuse to part with money for playing games are being reported across the country.
