AP police take key conspirator behind Secunderabad violence into custody in Khammam
Guntur, June 18: The Andhra Pradesh police took key conspirator behind violence at Secunderabad railway station into custody in the early hours of Saturday. He was identified as Avula Subba Rao, director of Sai Defence Academy. The Guntur cops shifted him from Khammam district to Narasaraopeta.
Probe into violence at railway station in Secunderabad revealed that private academies involved in training youth for Army jobs have extended support to the protest. The police found that these institutions gave shelter to agitators and also supplied water bottles, butter milk and lemon rice packets to them. So far, role of ten private coaching centres had surfaced in arson at Secunderabad station, leading to death of two youngsters.
A WhatsApp message which is in circulation on social media read, “Sai Defence Academy director A. Subba Rao reached Hyderabad and extending support to the protest to be held on Friday. Urging directors of other defence coaching institutes to cooperate for the stir.”
