Minister Sabitha reacts to Teegala’s land grabbing allegations
Hyderabad, July 5: Minister for Education Sabitha Indra Reddy on Tuesday responded to land grabbing allegations levelled by former TRS MLA Teegala Krishna Reddy.
Talking to reporters, the minister said that she will inquire in which context he spoke regarding government land encroachments in Meerpet. “I will meet Teegala and both will discuss on land grabbing issues,” she stated and expressed doubt that he might have misguided by some politicians.
Sabitha mentioned that Chief Minister K. Chandrashekar Rao will take serious action if land grabbing charges are true. “The TRS government will never encourage land encroachments,” she said and added that she will verify facts behind allegations.
According to reports, Teegala criticised Sabitha as he knew very well that he will not get a chance to contest from Maheswaram constituency on TRS symbol in next elections. So, he is preparing ground to quit the TRS and join the Congress once he gets assurance of MLA ticket.
