CM KCR pats Kasarla Raju for securing All India 86th rank in IFS
Hyderabad, July 6: Chief Minister K. Chandrashekar Rao (KCR) felicitated Kasarla Raju for securing All India 86th rank in the Indian Forest Service (IFS) exam in his first attempt. Currently, Raju pursuing MSc Forestry at Forest College and Research Institute (FCRI) at Mulugu in Siddipet district after completing B.Sc forestry.
The 23-year-old hails from Suraram village in Janagam district. KCR wished that several forestry students from Telangana would select for IFS by taking Raju as inspiration. He opted forestry and geology as optional subjects for writing IFS exam.
Raju thanked the CM for setting up a world class institution like FCRI and giving an opportunity to students like him to study forest education at best institution. Ministers Koppula Eswar, Gangula Kamalakar, and Satyavathi Rathod, Chief Secretary Somesh Kumar and other officials were present.
Meanwhile, former MP Manda Jagannath met KCR at Pragati Bhavan on Tuesday and thanked him for appointing him as Telangana State Government Special Representative (Cabinet rank) in Delhi.
