Prathap Pothen predicted his death! thought provoking last post goes viral

Chennai: In recent times, movie celebrities have been dying suddenly. It is known that famous actor and director Pratap Pothen (70) passed away on July 15. Celebrities and actors from the Telugu and Tamil industry expressed shock after hearing the news of his death, but a post on social media before his death has now gone viral.

Pratap Pothen posted a photo with a George Carlin quote at 9:38 am on Thursday. The post reads, “Swallowing small amounts of saliva over a long period of time can cause death.' Later 16 hours before his death, Pratap Pothan posted, 'When you treat the symptoms of a problem instead of treating the root cause, you start relying on pharmacy." 

He also wrote that "every generation plays the same game in the game of life". Later, in Jim Morrison's quote 15 hours before he breathed his last, "I wanted recognition in the arts. In other words, I wanted to be in the movies. But people are trying to get recognition in what they like.”

Looking at these quotes, there are suspicions that Pratap Pothen had foreseen his death. Now, these photos have gone viral and are making everyone think. While Pratap Pothan acted in many movies in Telugu, Tamil and Malayalam languages. 

He has acted in around 100 films in Telugu, including films like 'Akali Rajyam', 'Kanchanaganga', 'Maro Charitra' and 'Veedevadu'. Pratap Pothan is not only an actor but also directed 12 films. Besides, he also worked as a producer for some movies. Meanwhile, he is the ex-husband of senior actress Radhika. He married Radhika in 1985 and got divorced in 1986.
