Guntur: NRI software engineer held for cheating, marrying five women

Guntur, July 28: Disha police took a NRI software engineer for marrying five women into custody. A case was registered against him based on the complaint of Lakshmi. She is the fifth woman, who was cheated by him. Karnati Satish Babu, who belongs to Guntupalli in NTR district, has confessed to crime. 
 
According to police, Satish gave strange reason for marrying five women. “I married for better life,” he revealed and said that he divorced three women after marrying them as they couldn’t meet his expectations.
 
During the investigation, the accused said that he applied petition for divorcing fourth wife. “Due to some reasons, divorce was not granted,” he mentioned. Satish was caught as he married for fifth time without divorcing fourth wife. Recently, the Hyderabad police arrested one Sivasankar Babu for marrying 13 divorced women and defrauding them with lakhs of rupees. The case has created sensation in Telugu states.
