Hyd: Man plotting to kill Armoor TRS MLA held, two pistols seized
Hyderabad, August 2: Banjara Hills police took a person into custody and seized two pistols and a knife from him. According to reports, security personnel of TRS MLA from Armoor A. Jeevan Reddy saw a man moving in a suspicious manner near MLA’s residence here.
Immediately, security men informed police. On receiving information, the cops took the person into their custody. The probe revealed that his name is Prasad Goud belonging to Kalledi village in Makloor mandal in Nizamabad district. He bore grudge against Jeevan Reddy for suspending his wife Lavanya from Sarpanch post. He decided to kill him. The police registered a case against Prasad. It is not clear as to whether the accused carried country-made or China-made pistols along with him.
