Posters describing Komatireddy Rajgopal as Cong traitor come up in Choutuppal

Nalgonda, August 13: Posters describing Komatireddy Rajgopal Reddy as Congress traitor have come up on main streets of Choutuppal on Friday night. Now, the posters have become talk of the town. Rajgopal Reddy, who won as Munugode MLA on Congress ticket in previous elections, tendered resignation which was accepted by the Assembly Speaker.
 
Rajgopal will be joining the BJP on August 21 in presence of Union Minister Amit Shah at a public meeting. Some of the Congress loyalists did not like Rajgopal’s entry into the BJP. In the posters, Rajgopal was accused of deceiving Congress interim president Sonia Gandhi to safeguard his contracts worth Rs 22,000 crore. 
 
Rajgopal will be contesting on BJP ticket in Munugode by-election. The ruling TRS and Congress are still in the process of finalising candidates. Triangular contest is expected for by-election this time. Thousands of voters loyal to the CPI are crucial in Munugode by-poll.
