Vidya Sinha, veteran Bollywood actress passed away on Independence Day
Mumbai: Vidya Sinha was one of the veteran actresses, who gained popularity in Bollywood. She got good recognition with films like 'Rajnigandha', 'Pati Patni Aur Woh' and others. She was born on November 15, 1947, and died on August 15, 2019.
It has been three years since her death today. Vidya Sinha, who was born in the year of independence of the country, passed away on the day of independence. It is difficult to say whether this is a coincidence or her unknown attachment to the independence of the country.
Vidya Sinha passed away at the age of 71 at Juhu Hospital in Mumbai. She was admitted to the hospital suffering from heart and lung-related diseases. Initially, she was placed in the intensive care unit. However, despite taking all precautions, she died in the hospital while undergoing treatment. As for her film career was concerned, she started her career as a model at the age of 18 and after that, she gained popularity with the movies 'Rajnigandha', 'Chhoti Si Baat' and 'Pati Patni Aur Woh'.
After taking a break, Vidya Sinha started her second innings with Salman Khan's 'Bodyguard'. Later, she worked with famous producer Ekta Kapoor on several TV shows like 'Kavyanjali', which was telecast in 2006.
But Vidya Sinha entered the film industry only after marriage. Vidya Sinha, who married Venkateswaran Iyer in 1968, adopted a daughter named Jhanvi. After the death of her husband in 1996, she married Bhimrao Salunkhe in 2001, but she also got divorced from him in 2009.
