Chandrababu tweets remembering A B Vajpayee, says his policies shaped Indian economy

Hyderabad, August 16: President of India Droupadi Murmu, Vice-President Jagdeep Dhankhar, Prime Minister Narendra Modi, Union Home Minister Amit Shah and other leaders across the country paid floral tributes to late former Prime Minister Atal Bihari Vajpayee on his death anniversary on Tuesday. 
 
Remembering Vajpayee, TDP national president N. Chandrababu Naidu posted series of tweets. He said Vajpayee was one of the important political personalities in shaping the modern Indian economy with his best policies.  
 
“I am extremely happy and satisfied for getting a chance to closely work with Vajpayee in telecom sector, Golden Quadrilateral project, open sky policy, micro irrigation and greenfield airports,” he recalled.
 
The TDP chief further said that half of the Indian roads were laid when Vajpayee was prime minister. “Vajpayee is a patriot to be remembered when the nation is celebrating 'Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav' to commemorate 75 years of Indian Independence,” he mentioned.
