Virat Kohli: Indian run machine is a better player than me, praises Sourav Ganguly
New Delhi: Former India captain Virat Kohli quenched his three-year run thirst with a century. Kohli shut the mouths of those who advised him to retire from cricket. In the match against Afghanistan in Asia Cup 2022, Kohli scored 122 runs in just 61 balls. This is Kohli's first international century since 2019.
After this century, the 33-year-old Team India run machine was once again showered with praises. All the previous criticisms have disappeared. BCCI chief and former skipper of Team India Sourav Ganguly recently praised Kohli and termed him a better player than him. He predicted that Kohli will continue to represent India and will play longer than him.
This is not the first time that Ganguly has stood by Kohli. Speaking in an interview before the Asia Cup, Ganguly described Kohli as a great player. He predicted that he will come into form in this tournament. He got back into form with two half-centuries and a century
