Jana Sena activists arrested on charges of attacking ministers released on bail
Visakhapatnam, October 17: Jana Sena leaders and workers, who were arrested on the charges of attacking ministers with stones and sticks at airport, were released on bail. Th local court granted bail to 61 Jana Sena activists on personal surety of Rs 10,000. However, remand to 9 Jana Sena workers extended up to October 28.
Earlier, the police produced the accused before the Seventh Additional Metropolitan Magistrate amidst tight security and closed all the entry points of the court except one. Meanwhile, the legal cell of the Jana Sena claimed that cops registered cases against 92 party workers and arrested 70.
Responding over the incident, Minister for Water Resources Ambati Rambabu alleged that Jana Sena chief Pawan Kalyan encouraging anti-social elements. “Why Pawan Kalyan did not condemn the act of violence unleashed by his party cadre against the ministers,” he asked and termed him as ‘slave’ to TDP national president N. Chandrababu Naidu.
