CBI files counter in Supreme Court in YS Vivekananda Reddy murder case
New Delhi: The Supreme Court will hear the petition to issue orders to conduct the investigation on the murder case of YSRCP leader and former minister YS Vivekananda Reddy outside Andhra Pradesh. It may be recalled that Viveka's daughter Sunitha Reddy filed this petition.
The CBI, which is investigating the case, filed its counter in the court on Tuesday against the backdrop of the next hearing on this petition. In this counter, the CBI officials have mentioned many sensational matters.
The CBI has stated in its counter that all the things Sunitha Reddy said in the petition filed to investigate Viveka's murder case are true. It said that the AP police have colluded with the accused and due to this there is a delay in the investigation of the case.
The CBI said that the local police are dancing to the tunes of the accused. It said that the local accused filed a case against the investigating officer. It further stated that they gave a promotion to officer Shankaraiah when he said that he would give a statement whatever they would wish him to say.
