KCR asserted that he would never back down for the sake of Telangana and there is no need to fear threats. "Let's see what the future holds... I know well what needs to be done for the benefits of Telangana," he mentioned. Despite the pressure from the Central Government, he said that Telangana projects were never compromised in the last ten years.
He revealed that the Union Minister of Jal Shakti, Gajendra Singh Shekhawat, had threatened him by saying the projects should be handed over to them, or else they would take official action. "If you want, impose President's rule in Telangana... I will dissolve my government... I will not tolerate any injustice towards Telangana. There's no question of handing over the projects," KCR told the Union Minister.
