No Pact Between BJP and BRS, Confirms Dharmapuri Arvind
Dharmapuri Arvind, the BJP MP from Nizamabad, in an exclusive interview to a media channel, clarified that there is no truth in the rumors about a pact between BJP and BRS amidst the upcoming Lok Sabha elections. He expressed confidence that the BJP's vote share would increase in the southern states, including Telangana, where he anticipates the party to contest for 8-10 seats.
Arvind denied any involvement of the BJP in the ED cases against Kavitha Kalvakuntla, questioning how the BJP could be held responsible for the postponement of her case hearings in the Supreme Court. He stated that he never claimed Kavitha would be arrested, emphasizing that the Enforcement Directorate (ED) operates independently without any external influence.
Furthermore, Arvind asserted that neither the ED nor the CBI has been misused by them in any context. He mentioned that if Bandi Sanjay, another BJP leader, makes any statements, he would be the one to respond to them, clarifying that he has not lodged any complaints against Sanjay to the party leadership. He explained that Bandi Sanjay was replaced due to the end of his term, not for any other reason.
He also addressed allegations regarding the seizure of Rs. 1.10 lakh crores of black money by central investigation agencies, criticizing the accusations of attacking opposition leaders, forcing them into the party, and then waiving their cases as unfounded.
