At the "Jayaho BC" event held in Mangalagiri, TDP chief Chandrababu Naidu and Jana Sena Chief Pawan Kalyan released the BC Declaration. This declaration includes several key points aimed at the welfare of the Backward Classes (BC).
Key Points of the BC Declaration:
Introduction of pensions for BC individuals at the age of 50.
Increase in monthly pension amount to Rs. 4,000.
Establishment of a special law for the protection of BCs.
Formation of a Social Justice Review Committee.
Allocation of Rs. 1.5 trillion over five years through a BC Sub-Plan, ensuring funds are utilized specifically for BC welfare.
Restoration of 34% BC reservation in local institutions.
Resolution for 33% BC reservation in legislative bodies.
Implementation of 34% reservation across all institutions and nominated positions, with some BC categories being given the opportunity to become co-option members.
Establishment of corporations based on population demographics, ensuring funds are allocated proportionately.
Allocation of Rs. 10 trillion for BC self-employment initiatives, with Rs. 5 trillion dedicated to the "Adarana" scheme for tools and equipment.
Revival of industrial incentives for BCs.
Legal enumeration of castes.
Revival of the Chandranna Bima scheme with coverage of up to Rs. 10 lakhs.
Increase in the Chandranna Wedding Gift to Rs. 1 lakh.
Provision of permanent caste certification documents.
Revival of all educational schemes.
Upgrading BC Gurukulams to Junior Colleges.
